At Axiom Personnel we are currently recruiting for a counterbalance and Reach Forklift Operative for our well established client based in Dagenham.

This is a permanent position with a salary of £17,500 per annum (£8.90 per hour). It works on a weekly rotational shift pattern of;

* 14:30 to 22:30
* 06:30 to 14:30
* 22:30 to 06:30

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has preferably worked in an industrial stores environment before, capable of carrying out the following tasks:

* As a team member they'll work to laid down processes.
* Receiving and unloading goods from carriers.
* Booking in goods on a bespoke computer system.
* Assign goods to requisitions and deliver into plant.
* Serve Ford staff collecting goods.
* Putting stock away.
* Work on computer storage software and have a knowledge of Microsoft Outlook for emails.

The person needs to be conscience and trustworthy, able to work on their own, including being single manned at times. Able to follow processes, communicate with customers (Ford production and maintenance staff) take instruction from their supervisor and management, work to deadlines. They need to be able to drive a forklift truck, though training will be given, they do have to pass our test to be capable of carry out their tasks. The candidate will also need a driving licence

Price / Salary: £17500 - £18500/annum
