Are you a Design Engineer who also likes to get his hands dirty too?

Ever been stuck behind a CAD desk when really you would also like to be building the machine you just designed?

Well. We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who wishes to join a leading Automation group in Birmingham.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be involved in understanding a customer's requirement, sourcing/purchasing materials and then designing/building bespoke automated machines for a diverse range of industries.

With rapid growth plans, we're are going to be opening a brand state of the art manufacturing facility just down the road so this is a very exciting time to start as Mechanical Designer at this company.

The Mechanical Design Engineer with have:
- A minimum of an HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Working experience within the special purpose automation sector.
- Experience with Conceptual and detailed design of automation equipment.
- A track record of working to tight deadlines under pressure with minimal supervision.

You'll be given all the training needed to enhance your career as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
