Control Systems Development Engineer - Kent

Up to £40,000 p.a. + Benefits

We are looking to speak with Engineers who are skilled strongly in C&I with hands-on experience of controls systems including DCS and/or CMMS, ideally with a background in anything from power stations/water treatment/energy from waste/recycling.

Role Responsibilities

* Active involvement in corrective/preventative/development maintenance of DCS (Distributed Control Systems) to include CEMS (Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems).
* Carry out risk assessments at the site - an Energy From Waste power station in Kent.
* Ensure subcontractors attending the site are inducted safely.
* Act as Authorised/Nominated Person within the limits of their competence.
* Assist in implementation of equipment upgrades.
* Active involvement in daily use of implementation of equipment.
* Key member in planning, execution and completion of planned outages.

Applicant Profile

* ONC/HNC qualified in either Electricals/Controls/Instrumentation/IT.
* Ideally complete apprenticeship in a related industry. 2-5 years experience.
* Previous CMMS experience desirable but not essential.
* Ideally specific IT/DCS/PLC/Controls.
* Ideally experience on Profibus systems.
* Knowledge of 3 phase systems.
