An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Cylinder Driver to join our Leeds site. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £18,280 per annum plus £50 per month on call payment, overtime, 33 days holiday pro rata and death in service benefit.

We are the second largest LPG supplier in the UK and has over 30 years experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.

The Cylinder Driver will report to the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for delivering medical gas cylinders to customers whilst providing excellent face to face customer service.

The key responsibilities of the Cylinder Driver role will include:

* Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per operational procedures
* Delivering / collecting Medical Gas cylinders at customers in the Eastern region
* Completing all necessary documentation / data scanning ensuring accuracy standard is maintained
* Meet driver performance standards
* Heavy manual handling required

The successful Cylinder Driver will have:

* Full UK driving licence with no points
* Van driving experience
* A flexible working approach and willingness to work additional hours including some weekend working
* Ability to work in a team or on own initiative
* Demonstrates a personal commitment to health & safety

The hours of work are 39.5 per week. The role will involve being on call on rota basis, approximately 1 week in 3.
