Personalized Care is a service that provides support for individuals with learning disabilities and other associated conditions autism spectrum disorder, dementia, mental health conditions (dual diagnosis) physical needs, sensory impairments, profound and multiple needs and life limiting conditions.

Due to growth we have a number of opportunities available within the Hinckley area for experienced Support Workers. In return, we offer guaranteed hours, double time on some shifts, a pension scheme, company uniform and a paid DBS.

At Personalized Care we help individuals to live as independently as possible. We provide support to individuals within their own homes. Our service provides care to individuals aged 17 years old (transitioning into adult services) to 65 years old.

We are looking for a number of Support Workers to cover a range of hours. We provide a 24/7 service to our clients, our minimum calls are 3 hours and our longest calls are 9 hours.

We have full time and part time hours available including day shifts, late shifts, waking nights, sleep ins and weekend hours.

The main duties of the Support Worker include:

* Help with domestic tasks including cleaning and shopping
* Support with managing bills and budgeting
* Support with meal times and dietary needs
* Medication ordering and administering
* Support with communication needs and sensory impairments with appointments
* Seeking out new local activities/community opportunities for individuals specific to their likes and interests
* Support with personal care

The essential qualities of the Support Worker include:

* Previous experience in the Care sector
* Experience of working with people with challenging behaviour
* Keen to learn and attend training sessions
* Happy to support people with their personal care needs
* Works well as a team, also be flexible and reliable
* Have a caring nature
