An excellent opportunity has arisen for a LGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join our team based at our Carlisle Site. In return, we offer a competitive salary, 33 days holiday pro rata, plus statutory entitlement, death in service benefit.

We are the second largest LPG supplier in the UK and has over 30 years experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.

The LGV Class 2 Tanker Driver will be responsible for delivering LPG in metered and bulk deliveries direct from the Carlisle to our customers.

The key responsibilities of the LGV Class 2 Tanker Driver will include:

* Daily vehicle checks for 15-20 minutes to check everything is in working order and complies with operating procedures
* Re-fuelling the vehicle once-twice a day, depending on non-long haul driving
* Loading the vehicle on site in accordance with site procedures
* Metered deliveries at customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures
* Working at a controlled DCD Site

The successful LGV Class 2 Tanker Driver will:

* Hold an LGV Class 2 Licence
* Have Drivers CPC
* Possess an ADR in Class 2 and in Tanks
* Be committed to provide excellent customer service
* Be reliable, flexible and hard working
* Be honest and trustworthy

The hours of work are 45 per week. Applicants must be available for overtime when required.
