An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Delivery Driver to join a well-established fresh milk and dairy produce delivery company based in Southport. In return we offer a competitive salary of £22,100 per annum plus company pension. The Role is a full time permanent position.

We are a long-established family business and have been delivering fresh milk and other dairy produce to households in Southport for nearly 80 years. This role is delivering to corner shops, nursing homes and caterers. The applicant if successful will be responsible for making fresh milk deliveries in a refrigerated 7.5 tonne vehicle.

The Delivery Drivers role will involve:

* Carrying out a pre-use vehicle check.
* Taking orders from customers and then delivering the order.
* Collecting the payment for the delivery.
* Loading the vehicle for the following day.
* End of day vehicle check.
* End of day cashing up and checking end of day report.

The successful Delivery Driver:

* Must have the appropriate driving licence to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
* Will ideally hold a full CPC card or be part trained, but not necessary.
* Must be physically fit, as there is a lot of lifting involved in this position.

If the successful applicant does not hold a driver CPC, we may be able to accommodate them on a 3.5 tonne van route until the CPC training has been completed.

The Delivery Driver will be required to work on average 5 days a week on a 6 week rolling rota. Shifts will start around 4:00am and involve working most Saturdays.

This role would suit an experienced Milk Rounds Person, Multi Drop Driver or Van Driver.
