Wordsworth House Care Home have an excellent opportunity for a Care Team Leader to join our team on a night shift basis. In return, we offer a competitive pay rate of £9.70 per hour plus 28 days holiday entitlement, onsite parking, NEST pension scheme, cash bonuses for Employee of the Month, overtime rate if called in short notice, hot meals and refreshments provided and ongoing training and development including NVQ qualifications.

Wordsworth House Care Home in Swanage, Dorset is a 48 bed residential home caring for residents with dementia.

The Care Team Leader will be responsible for managing the night shift and care staff on shift ensuring all residents are safely assisted to bed and cared for throughout the night.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Completing the medication round
* Overseeing care staff and ensuring they are working within company and CQC rules and regulations
* Personal care of residents including continence and pressure area care
* Recording of daily notes, body mapping, accident forms and handover
* Liaising with MDT members when required i.e. doctors, district nursing and paramedics etc.

The successful Care Team Leader will have:

* Extensive experience of working in a care setting
* NVQ 2 certification and willingness to work towards level 3 certification
* A caring nature and ability to remain calm under pressure
* Excellent organisation skills and ability to delegate
* Excellent team player skills

The hours of work are full time, based on 84 hours over two weeks.
