**We are looking to** recruit a Support Worker to assist a young gentleman who is registered blind with Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Sudden Death Syndrome and Scoliosis living in the Sittingbourne area.

**The role is** to support the client in his own home and out in the community. You will be required to undertake duties such as assisting with Personal Care, Meds Admin, Moving & Handling and Food Preparation. You will also be required to assist the client the access sensory activities. The post may also require you to accompany the client on holiday if requested.

**Their interests** The client loves listening to music especially Pink Floyd, he enjoys walks in the park and by the sea, theme parks where he can access the rides, boating and going out for dinner.

**They are looking for:** Applicants must have a Full Clean Driving Licence and to be able to drive the client in your own car. Care experience essential; Experience of working with people who have a learning disability would be desirable.

**Times and Days required:** Between 44.5 hours per week x 2 positions - Rota and shifts to be discussed at interview.

Applicants must be flexible to meet the needs of the client. Some times and days may vary. Applicants will need to be available to cover other workers etc.

**Rate of Pay:** Support Assistants: £12.00 per hour.
