An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR Operations Director to join our team based in St Neots.

The HR Operations Director will be responsible for the UK/Ireland while providing direct management across the Northern Europe countries (Nordics, Germany, Austria, Benelux). The successful individual will provide proactive, positive leadership and manage an effective and efficient HR Operations function that delivers business focused services.
The HR Operations Directors key responsibilities include
* Working with HR leadership, manage the strategic direction of the HR function
* Build strong and valuable relationships with key stakeholders
* Establish a thorough understanding of the business environment
* Working closely with his/her team, provide overall line management support for day-to-day HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, union/workers councils relations, payroll/benefits and employee development
* Own the successful completion of the annual performance management cycle, including annual salary review for region
* Maintain up to date knowledge of the legislative framework
* Overall ownership of departmental budget for region, ensuring compliance and reporting as required
* Support the promotion of a culture of high performance, change orientation and continuous improvement and where appropriate, challenge existing ways of working
* Demonstrate leadership consistent with the values
* Develop the skills and abilities of team members and build strong bench of talent
The successful HR Operations Director will have:
* Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or related field
* Relevant CIPD qualification
* Minimum of 5 years in senior roles
* Minimum of 2 years in international roles with mid to large international organizations
* HR generalist experience within a Supply Chain/manufacturing environment
* Able to travel regionally/globally as required, typically less than 20% of time
Preferred experience and knowledge:
* Experience of managing a HR team within a matrix organization
* Experience managing large change management initiatives or large scale HR re-organizations
* Working knowledge of project management principles
* Experience in managing complex HR priorities over different sites and countries within Europe
* Experience with service centre models and structures
