**FLT Warehouse Operative**

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client who are a leading freight logistics provider. Our client are increasing their workforce in various departments due to growth and are looking for a quality driven person to join their warehouse team.

The main duties of the role:

* Loading/ unloading vehicles, moving palletised goods around a busy warehouse & yard
* Maintaining an accurate record of stock as goods move in/ out of the warehouse (using electronic scanners)
* Handballing stock where necessary, palletising & other general duties as required

We are considering candidates with the following skills/ attributes:

* Possess current Counter Balance (2.5T) and Reach FLT licences (ITSSAR or RTITB accredited)
* Have previous experience of working in a warehousing environment, Experience of handling hazardous goods is an advantage
* Be able to work quickly, efficiently and carefully towards tight timescales
* Be able to work within a team, which is key to this role.

The salary for this role is £17k per annum, with 28 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), increasing by 1 day for every 2 years of service. The standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm so flexibility is required.
